Stopping by a Pub on a Snowy Evening

I think upstate NY invented snow. I guess I am going to have a white Christmas when I get up there

That's a guarantee, Howie! ; Another "lake effect event" is predicted for early next week.

Here's a few more for this snowy evening.

Um... where did the snow go? I mean, whenever we've had 24" or more of snow around here, the piles grow to 6' or more along city streets. Do they cart it away? Sometimes they dump it in the Harbor in Baltimore, just to get the streets open.

It gets moved, shoveled, dumped as fast as the crews can go. ; While many schools opened late or closed a day or two this week. ; Life continued. ; A little slower for safety.

when I worked in AC I told everyone that AC was eco-friendly. they used solar powered snow removal. They would do the boardwalk but the streets took forever.

I think Charles Town, WV has the same policy. ; Last year one of my clients canceled our meetings for two weeks after the big snow storms because the streets were not safe to drive.

To wrap this up....

That pic reminds me of a line from "The Mummy":

"Oh, Glenlivet, 12 years old! Well, he may have been a stinky fellow, but he had good taste."

Brrr, it's weather like that, that made me move away from Cleveland!

What, no Bushmill's??? (my current favorite)
