Starting out and need some help

    I use my shirt or napkins to wipe the lens clean ::)

    I also use op-tech like Gary recommended to me a long time ago. I replace the buckles with split rings. and I attach it to the camera with small split rings so that I can take the strap off and on fast.

    Yesterday I bought a optech strap and a wrist strap. The wrist strap is a no name one. Just packaged by the store. Going back to DLR at the end of the month, it will be fun to try it out.

    I also got an older tripod from my dad. He just had it and passed it on. I still have the Velbon on my wish list. I keep looking for it when I go into the different local camera stores and never see it. :( I just wanted to play with it before ordering.
