I finally took the opportunity to carry my tripod into the Magic Kingdom over marathon weekend at WDW. Here is my take on Splash Mountain with the help of an off camera flash.

Great angle on that one - and nice sky. ; I took a few of Splash at night, but didn't like my angle as much as yours and my sky was much darker.
 
Hi Everyone, first of all, thanks for the kind words.

I was standing right in front of the wall that holds in the pool of water that you see in the foreground. There are two "posts" for a lack of a better word along the wall. I was set up closer to the one on the left.
