POTD: Flowers

    Very interesting one Scott, is that from your trip to the greenhouse at Syracuse?

    I posted this elsewhere, but my first attempt at flower shots.

    Yep, that is from one of the ESF Greenhouses. ; Plants from all over the world like this friendly guy.

    Nice photos! Most beautiful is dragon's photo and the roger's Sweet Potato was so beautiful. Is any one interested to post orchid's photos?

    It's been really windy here, but spring arrived in Texas[nb]Central Texas. ; Your mileage may vary.[/nb] not too long ago. ; It was beautiful for SXSW, and now a week of the low 80s.

    Very nice Roger! ; Made me go out and take a few shots of the flowers that have come up in our yard. ; Will be posting after I get my laptop back.

    300/2.8. ; I didn't know what I was thinking bringing that to take pics of peacocks that will let you get within feet (not yards/meters) of them.

    This will be it for a while, I went down to the River Preserve yesterday and the wildflowers hadn't come back yet.[nb]Actually it looks like someone mowed them down, which seems unlikely since it's a wildlife PRESERVE, or the native deer population, which is out of control, ate them all.[/nb] ; I think we need a good rain to bring them back.
