I had a really good trip last week - especially on Kilimanjaro Safari. You won't believe this - but the animatronics were working on both the cheetah and lion! Not the full walking animatronics - they stayed on the ground - but they had the heads and eyes moving around very realistically. I rarely get working lion animatronics, but have on occasion - but working cheetah animatronics are super-rare - and to get both on the same trip...wow! I'm posting two of each, so you can see that the face was moving, and even some of the complex mechanicals like lips, eyes, and nose were working:

It was fun watching all the guests duck when they flew in. Problem was, the lower you go, the lower they fly. This was the only decent capture. Will be bringing the 70-200 next time for faster focusing.

Nighttime in the new expanded Harambe area (handheld as I had no tripod with me that day):

New Big Horn Sheep carving at Disney's Animal Kingdom in front of the Tree of Life. There is also a new waterfall. The area has been cleared out. You can no longer walk down for a closer view. Only problem, it is THE perfect place for photos and is not very wide. Gets very busy with people taking photos. Interestingly, there was no Photopass person set up there.

A little manual glass fun - wide open with a 35+-year old Konica Hexanon 40mm F1.8 lens at Flame Tree, dusk:

Another with the old Konica of Everest with stormy mixed skies at dusk:
