My self portrait was a project assigned to me by my graphic design teacher recently.
I went home and opened some photo albums and noticed most pictures of me were the reflection of me holding a camera in front of my face. So I started with that. My hair took up most of the background, I have very big hair when it's not tied down. In the design process I decided to do a collage of my world. The first step in making the collage was taking out the hair and putting in everything else. What it wound up being was a collage of trips my family and I have taken to Disneyland and Disneyworld! From John and my wedding straight to the first trip to the world when the kids were 5 and 7 ... to the most recent, one to DL and one to WDW - the kids are now 22 and 20. Our two dogs are a huge part of our world as well, but have never been to Disney. Each of our furbabies are depicted in my collage.
I am very proud of what I made and just wanted to share a larger, more viewable print of what I look at on my wall just about every day~ Me hopes you likey...
