No, I did not. That's a pretty cool bit of trivia.

They were both born in Peoria and got married a few months into the 1918 pandemic (the “Cliff Clavin” factoid). Got their start performing vaudeville before moving to Chicago where the FM&M show started on radio.

...so I guess “technically” got its start in Peoria.

^^ what does Onion-Head do in his off-duty hours? Goes to Disney parades and stands right in front of you!

Ah, the famous Blue Palms of Future World.

Blue Palms

Not to be confused with Rosie Palms and Her Five Sisters, which I believe was either a 20s jazz band or a burlesque act. ;)

no tim, onion head and melon head are brothers, not the same person, onion head can at least remove his hat if he is a nice person so inclined. but melon head, he is stuck for life with that noggin.

Just returned from a cruise on the Disney Fantasy but, before we left, we spent a day at Epcot not for food, rides or countries but for Spaceship Earth Beacon of Magic light show. Since I was cruising, I did not use a tripod but a Platypod using my tripod's head.

what time of night does that show start??

I asked a PhotoPass person and he said there was no set time. For us, it started about an hour after sunset. It repeats. We watched the Rainbow Connection part three times within 90 minutes.
