It seemed appropriate to photograph fireworks from the place that invented them: China.
well i can show this, i finally got pixel mania done, took me long enough
and big giant fireworks spider attacking the tori gate
Hid on the Odyssey Bridge to stay away from crowds.

Looks like we will have to fit this into the PM2K18 schedule... Disney just announced on their blog site that Illuminations will be ending at the end of summer 2019...

I saw that illuminations will be coming to an end “second half of 2019“. No exact date announced, and no successor as of yet. Hopefully the replacement is equal to or better than what is already there, we shall see…

What struck me this night were the lack of any crowds. Post dinner, had no plans to photograph it this night, just walking back to Boardwalk...but paused to snap a few as I had never seen quite so few people around the bay. It was raining much of the day:
