Disneyland - Jungle Cruise

Trader Sam has a great deal today: two of his photos for one of yours. Post them here.

When I visited Disneyland in 2016, the Jungle Cruise was one of a long list of attractions that were down either for refurbishment or due to Star Wars Land construction. In this case, the dock was being outfitted with some safety improvements, and the grand re-opening was only a couple of weeks away. In the meantime, the skippers did what they do best, entertain the guests. Several times each day they re-enacted the cruise using props and the jokes we all know and love. Known as The World Famous Jungle Cruise Virtual Land Bote Cruise Tour of Imagination Extravaganza, it featured scenes such as this one, where the lions are "standing guard" over a "sleeping" zebra.

Things along the river are just like they are in suburbia: you put your garbage out the night before, in case the garbage pickup comes by while you're still in bed.

Leftovers

You have to fly pretty high to see into the elephant's eye. (That's because it's on the roof of the Tropical Imports building, used for stroller parking next to the Jungle Cruise.)
