When I saw this new character in Disney's Hollywood Studios in December 2016, I simply thought that it wasn't suprising to see Dr. Strange capitalizing on the success of his film. Then, while listening to a "Disney year in review" podcast, it dawned on me: WHAT IS A MARVEL CHARACTER DOING IN A WALT DISNEY WORLD THEME PARK???? Does Universal know about this?
Given the fact that he was behind a building in a far corner of DHS, visible only to guests exiting from the new Toy Story track, I guess Disney was trying to keep his presence quiet. But you just know that all of the kids he was teaching magic tricks to are going to blab all about it on Snapchat.

How long will Gertie last? Seems that it has survived Star Wars.

Maybe they realize that all she has to do is bend forward and snatch them off the sidewalk.

Ooh, look at the tail on that one! Sorry, you can't do that any more. She's now one that got away. I wonder which warehouse she's gathering dust in.
Making a Splash
Alas, @jbwolffiv, Echo Lake is now missing an essential ingredient. Maybe they want to take out the plumbing or re-do the plumbing for whatever Disney's Hollywood Studios is to become. Taken on 9/16/2017.
