day 2 with D80

all taken using the 18-135mm kit lens and shot in raw in A priority. Still a little overwhelmed with all the settings for metering and focusing but getting it little by little

Personally there is a reason I didn't get the Xti. I can't bear to be without my control dial. Haven't been able to live without it since the trusty ol' Elan IIE. Good pics!

thanx. yea the great thing about digital is being able to experiment. last SLR I had was a full manual pentax about 17 years ago and I been using the sony828 for 3 years and it does spoil you with live histogram and live preview but time to move up as I want more reach on the tele end and better control over DOF and being able to shoot at higher ISO and not worry so much about noise. I got that spyder today from B and H. It was the same price as buy.com and I did the cheapest shipping and had it in 2 days so kudos to B and H.
