ok Gary. one of my photo buds went to the Dam today. he called me and said it was pretty active. I am going Wed and will give you a report. best time to start is in the morning till early afternoon.
Weekends it can get crowded but almost everyone is nice and will yell out the action

 

do you know what time you can access the parking lot, if i do this i'll be there saturday as early as they will let me get on line and get into the lot, and that works good because i want to dust off for home by 2pm

 

I will find out but I think an hour before sunrise but dont hold me to that yet
