Taken after indulging in food and adult beverages at "A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party." No debris falling here, @zackiedawg, and in fact, guests were denied access to the back of the park for 30 minutes after the show on this EMH evening.

I wish I had taken a closer look at John's photos before I set up next to Echo Lake for Symphony in the Stars. When I first noticed that everything was farther left than I thought it would be, I thought the palm trees would mess things up. Now I've convinced myself that they actually add a bit of foreground interest thanks to the fact that they're lit up. I had to shoot portrait mode because there was a palm tree trunk just out of frame on the right.

man i really love these, and i really wish studios would get a regular fireworks show, sorcery in the sky was before i had technical ability to shoot fireworks, and i really liked that show

I think I was a little farther to the left when I set up @ddindy but you are right, those trees work well this the shot.

@gary , there should be fireworks at least on the weekends for Pixelmania, and maybe every day. The are starting a whole new Star Wars show this summer, but no word on how often they will run.

I'm going back in a few weeks, so if they're still doing the fireworks, I'll try a different spot, @jbwolffiv.

There is a path down at the waters edge, almost directly across from the entrance to 50's Primetime, I put my tripod right against the green railing there.

Thanks. I was farther to the left, just past the end of that path.

Here's a shot from the special @jbwolffiv spot. I probably could have processed it a bit more, but I've been ridiculously busy lately.

And back to the spot with the palm trees. As you can see, it was a very calm night.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM has fireworks but it's the lasers and projections which are the stars of the show.

taken a couple of days before pixel mania, michael and i went onto the path from ohs to boardwalk on saturday night 10/15 and shot star wars galactic spectacular. thanks to michael walking me through processing this in photoshop, 2 combined images, right before sundays game. given the beating my giants took, i probably should have used the time to do pixel mania photos. but here it is, one of my first combined background base/fireworks shots. this was lightened up to only 75% opacity as i thought 100% was too light and tower of terror distracted from the burst. opinions on that???

this is at 85% for comparison, i think it might be a little more pleasing, it's hard to do this right now as i am working on a truncated system. i bought a new MacBook pro as my 7 year old laptop was really starting to struggle and noticeably slower with the new, much larger camera files from the sony, however after i got it home, i found out that my 27 inch cinema, just as old, apparently does not play well with the newer usb-c ports. in spite of having the apple adapters. so i put on my big boy underoos and ordered the new 27 inch 5K which works with 1 usb-c cable, hopefully it arrives soon, apple says 2/3 but maybe earlier, as i was quite used to working on 2 monitors, with the photo on the big screen and lightroom control panel on the laptop

I'm looking at it on my phone and ToT looks a little dark to me on both. Maybe double check it when you get the new monitor set up and calibrated?

    Otherwise it looks good
