If any of you haven't taken the time to sit in the Floridian lobby and listen to those guys, please do. ; This is one of my favorite "relaxation" things to do at WDW. ; :-* Good job, Dennis. ; The light in that area is deceptively low!
They went through a rehearsal show for the Star Wars Weekend fireworks last night as I was leaving the ESPN Club after Montreal dispatched Boston in the Eastern Conference Semifinals (had to get that in). Noticed the bursts were being reflected in the Dolphin Resort's windows. Excuse the high ISO as I was hand holding. Fireworks Reflection by Scottwdw, on Flickr
So we ended up driving the 17.5 hours straight thru from NJ and ended up here a day early, stayed one night at All Star Movies as we have not been here in 9 years.
Took a walk around our first Disney "home" the night we arrived. It was fun to visit with some "old friends." Woody by jbwolffiv, on Flickr
We've spoiled ourselves here lately with stays at deluxe digs. This is my family's first Disney home too. It will always hold a special place in my heart. IMO this hotel has the greatest untapped potential in terms of theming due to the company's movie history.
Once we bought into DVC, the stays here came to a screeching halt. another one from All Star Movies... What are you lookin at? by jbwolffiv, on Flickr
Great shot shot John!!! Your DVC now?? Which resort? We looked into it, quite seriously in fact but didn't buy into it.
It's the end of a rainy day and I just got off the boat at the Poly, heading to the Kona sushi bar to dine with Dave and Gillian. The western sky lit up with the setting sun behind these awesome clouds over the wedding pavilion. A perfect way to end the day. Grand Floridian sunset
Gotta love those shots that "just present themselves." We own at both Saratoga Springs and Bay Lake Tower.
We have such great memories of this resort from the first trip with my daughter when she was only 16 months old. Perdy by jbwolffiv, on Flickr
You don't see many Ft. Wilderness Cabin shots...so here's my stay in July: The boat dock, waiting for the MK boat: Nighttime return to Ft. Wilderness by boat: Gotta have a golf cart!
