I don't know if I can get any more random than that. LOL!

Thanks for sharing - I especially like the lighting of the Disney Gallery sign. It's a shame it's closed.

Anyone know what they are doing with that space?

I had an elaborate reply typed and my stupid keyboard erased it ALL.

Anyway - they are completing Walt & Roy's apartment that was never built (but was intended - look at the balcony railings for the W and R)

It will be for the DL version of the Cinderella Castle Suite for YOMD Part Deux.

Then in 2009 the rumor is that it will be used for high-rollers and corporate wooing only.

    Here's Walt's "W" and "D"

I can't imagine what that would look like...The WDW Cinderella suite was a great idea, but does this mean it will resemble Walt's apartment over the fire station?

I wish Disney wouldn't use the space for future VIP's only...it would be nice to keep more things accessible to the everday Joe.

I think it will be grander. I don't think Walt envisioned the Castle suite and the apartment to be like they made it to be.
Well.....to quote Jim Hill.....Disney is a company that exists to make money. To be honest they didn't think about what to do with these suites after YOMD. Like Bloat said in Finding Nemo..."Now what?"

So the question is...who will win.

Disney Burbank PR or Disney Hospitality. My guess is both. But I really doubt it will be accessible to the everyday Joe. Unless you can afford the probable 5 figure price tag per night. Let me see what value Disney puts on it.

heh. The value the suite at only $587. I think the real price will be at least 4 figures.

But the real big prizes are three 220 point DVC memberships including lifetime (DVC lifetime) dues paid in full...only about $80+k. But you can't resell the dues paid in full.
