Sean and I were just talking about Disney. ; We were remembering the PB & J milkshake I had at the 50's Prime Time cafe. ; It was soooo good. ; Sean found out it was in one of the Disney cookbooks. ; Does anyone have a cookbook and want to volunteer the recipe?

I have the recipe I'm not sure where I got it but it's in my collection of Disney recipes

    Ingredients:
    ; ; 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
    ; ; 3 tablespoons grape jelly
    ; ; 1/4 cup milk
; ; 3 cups vanilla ice cream, softened

    Directions:
    1. Put peanut butter and jelly in a small bowl and mix well.
    2. In a blender combine milk, ice cream, and peanut butter mixture
    3. Mix until smooth scraping the sides as needed

Let me know if it tastes the same as the 50's Prime Time recipe.

I will since I know that will make a difference due to the sugar contents of the different brands!

I know that the whole PBJ sounds gross in a drink, but it won me over!

Ok, so I did my research and here are the findings!

    Peanut Butter ; - ; JIFF
    Jelly ; ; ; ; ; ; ; - ; Smucker's Grape
    Ice Cream ; ; ; - ; Edy's Vanilla Bean

Have all ingredients except for the Edy's as it was too warm to bring back home! ; Have found Chapmans' Vanilla Bean and will try this weekend!

    And the PB&J milkshake may sound gross, but I thought it just tasted like Reese's Peanut butter cups. ; It was so yummy!!! ;

OK seriously people, that does not sound yummy.

Having said that next time I will get to the Prime Time 50s cafe I will try it.

After all I tried Alligator Gumbo at the Coral Reef restaurant once.
