How's it going everyone? I'm Heather from Georgia, a music major at Macon State. I have been a disney freak since 96 and have fallen in love with digital cameras over the last few years (I didn't even get a real one till my second trip to Disney in 2007 when I got a Kodak). I constantly have my camera on while I'm anywhere at Disney and get dirty looks from most of my family because they have to wait for me while I stop to take pictures constantly. There are problems I have had with pictures turning out in certain conditions so I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions for all you.

    Heather

    Heather,

Eventually your family will learn to just keep walking. You'll figure out how to find them. Just ask my wife and Tim's wife. They just learned to leave us behind...haha

hi Heather and welcome. Dont worry about the dirty looks from your family, eventually they just quit waiting, like Harra said :)

Or you can work something out like I've done with my family and friends...if I'm up there with them, I give them a few days where I'll only bring my tiny P&S camera and not take too much time setting up shots. In return, they give me some time on my own, where we'll split up in the morning so I can go on photo safari with full bag and tripod, then pick a time to meet back up later. Works like a charm!

Welcome, and ask away about Disney or photography!
