    Finding Nemo skinned monorail

    It looks like it would have been blindingly yellow. When was this done?

    The picture was taken August of 2007, not sure when Disney yellowed the monorail.

    They did for the grand (re)opening of the Subs, Summer 07. Didn't stay long. There is only one of this class of the monorail left.

    Awesome selective color Roger! I really like that shot.

    Aren't they having a lot of trouble with the newer class of monorail?

    Yes, because someone forgot to measure twice. (Monorail Red broke her first time out because it couldn't make a turn) And because of the existing track they were limited on the size, so no A/C was installed. And Cal-OSHA won't let them open windows on it just to prevent someone from accidentally falling out (same reason why the Peoplemover can never come back), so let's just say that it's awfully stuffy in them. They made air scoops to pull air into the cabin, but the last I checked, you'd actually have to be moving in order for that to work...

    That's why I think we should take the warning labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself...
