Ten years after they gutted the "marina" look between the Disneyland Towers (and bulldozed the bungaloes, the original monorail station, etc.) in favor of the Neverland Pool concept, Disney has decided to do another full redo of the entire area. ; This time the Neverland Pool will be gutted as well, and enlarged. ; This time it will be themed with Monorail slides. ; Unfortunately one of the things that has to go are the koi ponds and waterfalls next to one of the towers. ; Kind of special to me - we got some of our wedding photos taken there. ; And it was one of those hidden gems of the hotel - the water was at ground level and the water "falls" down to the bottom of this ravine - with paths throughout to explore and get away from the rest of the area. ; Very shaded and usually relaxing - but not that kind to water sensitive equipment - the water loved to splash everywhere.

I know things have to change, but this is the last remnants from our wedding. ; First a water slide sits where our wedding pavilion was, now this area will be gone.
