The dates for the December 2026 Pixelmania are from Wednesday December 2nd to Sunday December 6th.

Reply to this thread and let us know what dates you'll be coming and where you'll be staying.

Here is the schedule that the planning board worked out.

:cool: On Wednesday Dec. 2nd We will be dining at Home Comin' in Disney Springs at approximately 5pm depending on the dining reservation we were able to make. We also plan on heading over to see Yeeha Bob at Port Orleans Riverside following dinner.

:cool: On Thursday Dec. 3rd we will be at the Magic Kingdom in the morning and when it works out we will wander over to the Columbia Harbor house for lunch. Then we will attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

:cool: On Friday Dec. 4th we will be at Epcot and we plan on dining at the Biergarten sometime around lunch where will will purchase Candle Light Processional tickets for the early evening time slot.

:cool: On Saturday Dec. 5th we will be at Hollywood Studios where we will dine at Sci Fi Diner at 6 or 7pm, dependent upon the reservation acquisition

:cool: On Sunday Dec. 6th we will be at Animal Kingdom and we will dine at Sanaa at approximately 5pm. Please note that Sanaa is located at Disney's Animal Kingdom VILLAS, Kidani Village.

I have the pleasure of flying out the Monday after Thanksgiving on November 30th and then I'll be probably be flying home on Saturday December 12th after a side trip to Universal.

I'll be staying at Plop Century from the 30th until Monday December 7th, at which point in time I'll probably hop on over to Cabana Bay or maybe one of the newer hotels at Universal that's closer to Epic.

Mamma ain't got Helios Grand money, so she might stay at Stella Nova if she can ever break away from her beloved Cabana Bay. Who am I kidding, it's going to be Cabana Bay unless the prices are in the stratosphere.
 
My schedule, subject to change, is Pop Century Dec. 1-8 and Cabana Bay Dec. 8-11 (because Leows gouges an extra $100 for a Friday night room).
 
Casa Justin at Boardwalk (likely) - planning to book 12/2 through 12/6, driving back home Monday.

As points have been creeping up over the years, my 440 points that was always plenty for 14 nights a year in a 1-bedroom preferred at Boardwalk and still having points left to roll over - nowadays I need to book cheaper DVC resorts or categories...so I may go 'Resort view' aka standard, to save points. If I go preferred then I'll likely need to book my Feb, Jun, or Sep trips for 2027 in some cheaper spots (I did that this use-year, booking two Fort Wilderness Cabin stays in Feb and Jun so that I had enough points for Boardwalk preferred in September and 5 nights at Saratoga this past weekend).

I won't be doing the Universal stuff, both because I couldn't swing that many days off, and because I'm a Disney monogamist, and just don't have any interest in Universal.
 
I was planning on waiting on booking the room for a few more weeks… but because I’m flying in thanksgiving weekend, my specific room type was going fast (waiting 1 day lost the room I had intended to grab at Jambo).

So for any other dvc-er planning on coming in on the weekend, book your room sooner than later.

july??, or early august, so we can decide on dining in time for the res windows. dvc home booking windows open during pixel mania, which hasn't been a problem, one year i made dvc res by phone while at pixelmania
 
Still a ways away… but was wondering if there was any interest in either of these activities (pre or post mania). I know we’ve talked about the Universal Escape Rooms in the past, but just saw a YouTube video on Level99, which is supposed to open in the old DisneyQuest space this summer. While there would be slightly more activity at Level99, their FAQ says that over half of the 60+ activities are “wheelchair accessible” (meaning more mental than physical). A few of the games required walking across a balance beam and another was climbing thru a window (clearly I’m not gonna be doing either of those). But some of the others shown looked to be similar to escape room activities (just broken up individually).

Level99 also will have food and a “beer garden”/Tap Room area… so dual purpose.

Just a thought to keep in mind for something to do on an off afternoon.You_Doodle_2026-05-19T23_39_22Z.jpeg
 
Depending on timing (whether I'm there early or late enough) I'd be interested in the Level 99...not so much the Universal. But I'm only there 6 days so I might not make the cut if it's going to be 3-4 days before the 'main event'.
 
I will be staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort from Dec. 2nd until the 6th. I will have a car with me if such transportation is needed.
 
i don't get in until tuesday and wed is fishing and the traditional meat before the meet, which i am not interested in cancelling, so for me no time is available for this
 
For those not staying in DVC rentals, Discounts for hotels MAY be available for the December dates. Check to see if you can score one.
These Christmas period discounts were made available on June 25, 2026
