Castle HDR

    Tried an HDR of the castle. ; This was at mid day.... ; where was everyone?

    In front of Cindy's castle just past the partner statue in the street.

    No, i was answering your question of where everyone was at mid-day. ; Dont think i've ever seen the castle empty other than rope drop.

    Doc, I normally have a strong dislike for HDR's in this format, however this one I really like. You might want to consider straightening the horizon however because it looked a bit crooked (use the front edge of the stage, not the train tracks). Other than that you did a great job.

    I agree with Tim - I'm not a tone-mapped fanatic, but this one works pretty well - I like the sky textures, and the sky is more enhanced than the castle which still gives it a bit more of a real feel, even with the heavy HDR in the sky. ; Nice dramatic look, enhanced by noone being there!

    Red, ; OK misunderstood you. ; Tim, yep noticed the horizon after I posted it. ; Thanks for the kind comments. ; As a general rule I'm not a big fan of the overly saturated HDR look either but seemed to work for this pic.

    I'm confused on how thats different then a normal look for the castle at midday....
