here are two from an afternoon spent at the pool (and pool bar) at the contemporary.
Both have the meter set to -1.00 to compensate for the meter of the D80 and the very bright sand.

Here is another photo of this view that I enjoy so much.
But here, I adjusted exposure up by half stop for the white sand. I also used my new cp filter.
This photo is much better. thanks to scottwdw for his post in the snow, making me think to adjust the comp plus instead of minus!

great shot. I tried to shoot the Contemporary earlier this month but from far away it had a weird effect with the lines similar to if someone with a lined shirt appears on TV.

    Mickey and the Sand Bar

Here is Mickey standing in front of my favorite spot to grab a fairly cold, overpriced beer in a plastic cup.

I find it odd that they play non-Disney music there.

they play non-disney music a lot of places in the resorts... boardwalk, all-stars, old key west come to mind immediately.

I knew Pop Century they did but I didn't know about the other. However at the Contemporary they were playing '90s music that wasn't good.

Interesting song list. I find it funny to see that Hootie, No Doubt, The Cranberries, Alanis and Sting (by virtue of the Police) are on that list twice. You would think that they could have found at least one song from a few other artists.

Craig, I have got to say that the first and last photo's in that post are brilliant. ; I am also guessing that the beach chairs that are turned away from the water and facing back towards the resort are your's and Dina's chairs? ; Wonderful photo's again, thanks.

The first one with the Electrical Water parade is fantastic, Craig!!!! ; Care to share the exposure on that one?

Craig, I agree with Scott, that shot is awesome. ; Was that taken from your room or the roof?

Very cool Craig...the two chairs are a classic 'I gotta be me' type shot, and I love the night shot with the electric parade captured too. ; Gotta love the view up there.

I figured out a few trips ago, when shooting the water parade, crank up the iso to get decent shutter speeds.

    Thanks everyone!
These were taken from our room. we got a bay lake view this time way up high, so we got nice views.

The two chairs turned backwards werent ours, but I liked the way they were different. ; We usually sit by the pool and turn our chairs. This is the first time they have had that many chairs on the beach.
