I will be at DL this week and wanted to know what I should not overlook. DL Park on Wednesday and California Adventure on Thursday.
The subs. Fantasmic! isn't running. The Electrical parade neither. The subs. Umm, the subs. And Indiana Jones.
OK. So no Fantasmic, no, Electrical parade, no small world, and no splash mountain (for my son). That stinks. What about Paradise Pier... is that a decent hotel and is there anything at WDW I can compare it to? On a happier note, I did get my new lens today. AF-S DX VR Nikkor 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED.
wow, you are definitely getting the short end of the deal on this trip. at least they cut ticket prices 30% to accommodate the attractions being closed. oh wait, they didn't get the memo? rats.
All I know is that mother-in-law and sister-in-law were there last weekend (they live near anaheim) and said that they felt sorry for people who made a special trip to Disneyland because there were a lot of attractions shut down. Paradise Pier really doesn't have much to compare to at Disneyworld. To me, it's almost like a slightly lower quality Dolphin. It is technically considered a deluxe hotel
I would be a little mad, but $10.00 Skybus tickets and the in-laws DVC points for the hotel are making me feel a little better.
I believe the Snow White exhibit is still at DCA - in the Animation building. Also the Pixar zoetroppe (sp?) is not-to-be-missed. Matterhorn, New Orleans Square, Pirate's Lair . . .
