    Pardon the quality of these pictures. ; I took these many years ago using my first digital camera. ; It was a high end camera with a 1.0 megapixel sensor!

    Hey, not many people would have one back when it was still there! ; By 2000 it was demolished.

    Welcome to the boards!

    I too had a 1MP digital camera, starting in 1997 - the amazing floppy-disk-drive Mavica FD91, with a 15x stabilized zoom. ; That sucker was about $1,000...but it got me into photography more, and especially into digital.

    Nice shots actually - really made it look scenic. ; I truly miss this exhibit, along with World of Motion next door.

    The pictures I posted were taken with an old Kodak camera. ; I believe it was their first generation, 1.0 megapixel with about a 2x optical zoom. ; I paid somewhere in the area of $800 for the camera. ; It's amazing to think of how much better an $800 camera is today compared to back then, but that's technology :)

    The pics I posted were taken in 1998.

    Great pics, Thanks for sharing. I remember getting my first digital camera around 97 or 98. It was a Kodak DC290 which was a fairly high end camera for that time. The funny thing was when my son was about 2, every time I would take pictures, he would always ask to see them immediately after I took them & everyone around us would look at us with this expression that said "He doesn't understand it has to be developed". It was funny to see their expression after we showed them the picture. :)

    This may be the one attraction that I am ashamed to admit I never rode. ; I only had 2 stops at EPCOT prior to 1999. ; Oh, well.

  12. I really miss this ride. ; I have the audio version of the ride and it makes a great listen to once in awhile to pick me up. ; One of the main reasons I liked EPCOT so much. ; Thanks for the take back. ;
