    Hi there leishamarie,

One of our favourite spots to shop is the local Walmart. ; They have a huge Disney section in it. ; There's also 2 disney outlet stores (not sure of where though, ; maybe someone else can give addreses). ; You will find alot of the same stuff as the parks at a fraction of the cost!

Ditto what realfam said ... if you're just staying onsite, make time to go to Downtown Disney to shop. They have the biggest WDW store, as well as smaller specialty shops which are good for gifts - a Christmas store with personalized ornaments, a "writer's" shop with specialty Disney books, photo albums, and scrapbooking supplies, Sporting stores, cooking stores, and of course a CANDY store (Goofy's).

You'll find a list of shops here:

The big Disney store in DTD is huge... and amazing!!!! ; You can find some good prices.

    I agree about the Walmart, where you will find lots of Disney items for MUCH better prices. ;

We also hit a Disney Outlet store... where we walked out with a tonne of stuff. ; I'll have to dig up the location. ; It's in an outlet mall... so lots of other shopping too!

Right outside Buzz Lightyear Spaceranger Spin in the Magic Kingdom, there is a Kiosk with Buzz stuff. ; ;)

Failing that; you'll find stuff in just about every corner of the World. ; ;D

  6. actually - with exchange, I'd suggest you go to your local Disney store, and see if they still have any halloween stuff in clearance.

Once there, local spots mentioned good - obviously, Walmart has a lot of non-official stuff. DD has lots of stuff too, as do outlet stores.

Another alternative - shop online at disney store, and have it delivered to your resort .

If you don't have a vehicle, you are limited. ; DTD, Parks and Resort Shops. ; You can also go to the TTC and take a cab to Premier Outlet Mall on Vineland. ; There and back would be aproximately $20.00 ; They have a Disney Outlet there, Coach Outlet and various other stores with good prices.

If you plan on spending a day shopping, may be worth your while to look into renting a vehicle for the day. ; Then you can really do some damage! ;)

This being said, my usual trek starts at the end of International Drive at the Outlet Mall there, (can't remember ; what it's called but used to be Beltz), staying on International Drive, then head over to the Festival Bay Mall (Hot Topic, Vans Outlet) then we take a break at Sonic! ; Have to have my Cherry Limeade!LOL ; Then it's off to the Florida Mall! (Kirkman to SandLake) ; There is also a Marshall's and Target there. ; The Costco is in that area also. ; There is also a Walmart around there. ; Then it's back to the Outlet on Vineland! ; And then back to the resort to relax!

Still have yet to make it to the Millinium Mall! But I hear it's pricey!

For shopping in the parks, I certainly love a couple of places and make sure I visit every time. ; There is the Arribas Brothers where you can find unique glass gifts and get them personalized. ; They can be found in Downtown Disney, Magic Kingdom and Epcot next to Germany I believe. ; I also like the Days of Christmas store and the World of Disney Store which has a great selection of everything. ; Both are at Downtown Disney. ; Oh and if you are looking for something really neat go to the Are of Disney Store, again in Downtown Disney, last year we went and and they do hand drawn cartoons and personalize those with colors or words that you may want on the cartoon. ; To just get the characters and personalize them, I thought they were really reasonable. ; I surprised Sean on his birthday with a hand drawn Jedi Mickey with his favorite color red for light sabre and coat. ; It is really cute. ; I got it framed as well down there and then shipped back up to my office so he had no clue that I even bought it.

  9. one of my favourite souvenirs from the second last trip was a paper weight I got at Epcot - we had a photo of the 3 of us (then) taken and then lasered somehow on a paperweight - our photos are sketched/ transcribed somehow on the clear weight, but in 3d - it is very cool! ; The date is added as well. ; The best souvenir I've ever gotten!

Where in Epcot was that Sheila? It would be a nice souvenir of my girls while they're still little. Sigh!

  11. In was in future world - where you can put your photo on stamps, etc. - they have a photo set up there. - I think in Innovations, but I'll have to check with DH to make sure (he remembers that kinda thing) - all I remember is that we were late for dinner reservations halfway around the World showcase cause we were leaving the next day, and the gift couldn't be delivered to our resort - so we had to wait for it to be completed (which seemed to take a long time, but it's probably because we were already late..:)...)

I don't remember the exact name of the thing (I'll look) but this link gives you an idea of what it is:

BTW, we didn't do another with DD2 when we were there last year because you have to sit pretty still for several minutes - that was out of the question with her (she was a fidgety young'un). :)
