Look out Disneyland, Sean and I are coming in 17 days!!! ; We pulled a Sean this weekend and decided within minutes that we would be going. ; I can't wait to go to another Disney. We will be in California for a week, but we will also be taking in Universal, Sea World & San Diego Zoo! ; I can't wait to see the refurbishments to Pirates of the Caribbean, ride Tower of Terror and California Screamin' with Sean. ; I sure hope I can convince him to take his first ferris wheel ride when we are there as well. ; This is going to be so fun! ;D
Well it turns out the days that we picked are before and after the premier of Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland. ; Not really a problem there, I was almost excited at the possiblity of being that close to celebrities. ; But our travel agent called us and said they couldn't get us the hotel they tried to book us at or I think that is what happened. ; Problem. So after looking at some of the 'ecomony' hotels and not really liking those too much we decided to put off the trip to Disneyland for a bit. ; I am a bit disappointed, but that will be the next place we travel to so we will be going to Disneyland soon I hope. So Yay, we are going to Disneyland, but not quite as soon as I thought!!
That's disappointing but the anticipation is half the fun, I agree with you that its worth waiting to get what you want some of those 'economy' hotels can be scary.
I'm sure it will be well worth the wait... ; but... ; it falls under the old... "so close, but yet so far" category. ; If it weren't for the fact there are four of us... ; I'd likely have headed to WDW earlier this spring. ; The $$$ factor was just too much.
