A popular fishing and waterfowl pond south of Syracuse, New York. Thousands of ducks and geese which are feed by the public year round. ; It was a beautiful January day to be out and about.

Ducks fill the sky over Webster Pond.

I will probably crop this one later. ; The old Nikon 80-400VR has been panned for not being fast enough. ; Well, it takes practice but it can capture BIF (birds in flight).

Sisters feeding a Canada goose. ; I asked and received permission from their father to photograph the girls. I'm getting better at asking. :)

Nice shots Scott. ; Looks like it was a beautiful day. ; We've had nothing but rain and temps in the 30's today -- very gray and unpleasant for mid-winter. ; I'm hoping to get some wet street scene shots tonight downtown.

    Regards,

    Boris

Thanks, guys! ; The weather gave us a break this weekend. ; Should be back in to cold and snow by mid-week. ; Here's some more from Webster's.

This will give you an idea how many ducks and geese hang out there.
