As I waited on the Main Street Electrical Parade to start, I got bored and decided to toy with long exposure times. As the guys at Pixelmania can attest to, I didn't bring a tripod along, so I used the ground for support. The guy just swept there, so it has to be clean...right? Anyway, as crowd control started to move the masses back to the curbs, one of them walked right in front of me swinging his blue light. I thought that it worked to my advantage in the long run.
That is a kind of neat effect. That kind of light stick might be useful to throw some fill light on a subject while at the same time light framing it. Be tricky to get right, but it might be worth trying. Erich
