We live in Southern Ontario and haven't made the Vegas trip yet, but almost have based on prices I was able to get on Southwest airlines website. ; We quite often use Southwest out of Buffalo for our Disney World Florida trips. ; I have seen 4-5 nights, at 4 or 5 star hotels, including flights and tickets to 2 major shows, Cirque du Soleil, etc.. for $1000 for 2 adults. ; Not sure what you are looking for or if January is prime time for Vegas, although it's off season for a lot of places. ; Or I'd try a travel agent to see if they have any January deals which is usually less busy as a travel period. ;
I have been to Vegas a few times over the last couple of years and always use Alegiantair.com to book. ; You need to be close to a city in the USA (which we are) that has an Alegiant booking, but he prices will be 1/2 of what you would spend with the Canadian Carriers...hotel and show included as well.
