    My family is thinking about going to WDW in January and we're debating which week to go, so I have a couple of questions:

    When do they stop using the Castle Dreamlights? ;

    When do they take the Christmas decorations down?

    When do they switch back to the regular Wishes from the Christmas Wishes?

    When do they take the Osborne Lights down?

    I think the Osborne's went away on Jan 4, so I would assume that is probably a similar date to everything else getting turned off.

    Craig, ; by "went away" do you mean that the 4th was the last day they turned them on, or the first day they didn't?

    The 4th was a Sunday, so that makes sense. ; So, I guess I could assume that they would do the same thing this year and run them through the 3rd (Sunday after New Years) as well. ; Thanks Craig!

    Does anyone else know any of the end dates for the other holiday shows (Christmas Wishes, Dreamlights, etc)?

    In Jan of 08, Holiday Wishes and the dream lights went through 01/05/08. The decorations at the resorts (WL) were there on the 5th, gone the morning of the 6th. The music was changed over at the same time.

    With marathon weekend being the 7-10th, I'd imagine the decorations @ the resorts will be gone on the 3rd this year.

    Here is confirmation on the Osborne lights (01/03/10):

    Thanks mPower. ; The only time I've been there the week of the 1st was back in Jan 2002, but we left on Saturday 1/5/2002 because I had to be back at college on Sunday 1/6/2002. ; The decorations were still up when we left so I didn't know when they took them down.

    If they took them down then, that would work out almost perfectly... ; I wanted to get pictures of the hotels with the decorations and I wanted to retake my pictures of the Lodge without decorations with my new 14-24

    It was truly 'Disney magic' walking into the lobby on Sunday morning and realizing that only a few short hours prior, there was a 60' Christmas tree standing there! :)

    I'd love to see how they do that. ;

    Do you remember when they took the decorations down in the parks?

    I've been thinking about going on the tour that takes you back there, but I've heard mixed reviews about it. ;

    karen and i took the 3 hr behind the scenes christmas tour at radp 1999, it was guided by a person from christmas services, very informative, they gave us a nice little ornament at the end, the lobby trees are sectional, the sections are shrink wrapped, with lights and decorations in place, and stored, then inspected before assembly each year

    I have been to the Christmas warehouse twice. ; The first time I was on the Backstage Magic tour (the seven hour one) in May 2007. ; Seeing the warehouse full of Christmas decorations was awesome. ; They even gave out some tips that you can use around the house, such as LED lights and using hot glue to keep the tops in your ornaments.

    Seeing the warehouse during the Yuletide tour is less impressive - it's empty.
