Finally getting around to posting some shots from our trip to California this summer, which of course included a stop at Disneyland.

Our first stop in DL was to Trader Sam's, had to get a souvenir mug. ; Shipwrecked!

 
Very cool stuff Paul! ; Never being to Disneyland, is Trader Sams something in the park? ; Great DOF on that one. ; Is it me, or does DCA's entrance look like DHS entrance?

Ahem, actually DHS was based on a California icon.

So it fits the theme of California.
 
Roger: Love that image.....fantastic

John: Trader Sam's is a bar located on the Disneyland Hotel property and it is themed after Trader Sam from the Jungle Cruise. ; The bar itself is nicely decorated, but since we got there after 7 or 8pm we could not stay inside with the kids. ; There is a patio area where I ate (Fish Tacos) and drank (Shipwreck) while enjoying the live music. I hoping for a business trip to LA soon to enjoy the bar!
 
Well before we got to Disneyland, we flew into San Francisco and drove down the coast of California. ; This is one of the many beautiful scenes from that gorgeous coast.

Sounds like a great place and I ; will have to add it to the list of things to do when ever I get out there.

More great stuff Paul. ; I love the shot with the red trolley, the freezing of the dudes dancing is great. ; I would love to see the shot your son took too, looks interesting.
 
John, I will see if I can get his permission to use his images......he is touchy about his copyright ; ;D


Never got to go on the upper deck of Jungle Cruise before, but finally did on this trip
