The wand AND the crane are down!!

    yes, this picture is from August 2007, not August 1999!
    It looks so open and big at the entrance to Epcot.
    I did like the wand, but after 7 years, it looks so nice to see spaceship earth again!

    I'm so happy all my pictures of the wand now belong to extinct attractions. Can't wait to get back next year, experience the refurb, and take some new pictures!

    Craig, the first shot posted is phenomenal!

    And..that is the first time I've seen the ramparts and liked them! Great job framing the shot.

    thanks biblio. its an easy shot to get. disney did all the work. just wait for the photopass guys to be free, walk right up to the plaque at the planter and shoot.

    HURRAY!! I am SO glad that the wand is a thing of the past and memories! It was cool for the millennium celebration, but it should have come down after that.

    It's sooo refreshing to see that thing down... but is it odd that now I kind of miss it?? I'm a total hypocrite lol :p

    The color splash at the front of the grey photo is very nice. It really makes a otherwise dull photo very beautiful. Nice work.
