VERY nice Tim! I like them both. The two color one, the train almost feels like it is jumping off the page. Nicely done!
Really like the colored one, especially the flag all the way on the right of the front of the train. Reminds me of those transparent dyes that came in an inkwell for black and white pictures.
Awesome conversion Tim...of course great capture to begin with for it to have worked so well! I'm all for the antiquing idea on the trains...but yours easily trumps my attempt last March: I didn't use Nik effects...I just did a sepia conversion and yellowed it a bit. I do have Nik...so now I need to give it a try on some of the old train photos. Your train shot was ideal for it though - you got the steam from the whistle just perfectly!
Very very nice Tim! A perfect capture of the Walter E. Disney. I think I like the b-w one best. The colored one is perfectly done! nice job.
I love this shot I got. I've been hesitant to put it up because the others are so good. this is with the11-16 at 11mm. cropped to 8x10 [attachment deleted by admin]
