I also learned halfway the hard part about these E mount lenses: ; they don't stop focusing at infinity. ; I had to try and find something to focus on and then not move the ring. "I looked for the little yellow peaking to be the smallest and sharpest looking in the distance"
Nice - I wish I lived somewhere where I could see that many stars in the sky! BTW - on the NEX cameras for stars shooting, I find it works best to use the largest magnify setting (manual focus assist) along with peaking - find one good, bright star to magnify in on, and the peaking makes it pretty clear when you've got it dialed in.
