The new Corvette Stingray

Went to the Detroit auto show over the weekend. They had a Vette mounted high on a wall. Fortunately nearby stairs allowed nice angles for photos.

Good shooting, especially in the challenging angle!


My brother will likely be in line for it...he's had 3 C6 Vettes in a row, with the latest being the ZR1 - I'm sure he'll be right on top of the new C7. ; Finally, they've moved the interior quality up to something more closely matching the exterior - that's always been the Vette's downfall - Ferrari-fighting exterior, Chevette-matching interior!

Yeah, I think they hit a home run with this version.

It looks good, and lean. ; I particularly like that they got rid of all the fluff and 'retro' bits to try to tie into their past. ; Every vent, intake, or outlet on the car is 100% functional, rather than being purely design aesthetics. ; It's fully modern, and still looks like a Vette without trying too hard to look like a Vette.
