    Hmmm - at least the gods offered up L glass. ; 24-105mm F4, with hood and looks like a free protective filter...though it doesn't appear to have worked very well.

    Sounds like a conversation likely to be heard in many TMIPers' homes:

    "But honey, of COURSE it costs over $1,000! Do you think L-glass just falls out of the sky whenever you want it?!"

    I love that last line... "proving it fell from a plane could prove difficult." ; Maybe Superman caught Jimmy Olsen taking cheesecake photos of Lois Lane and threw his camera away... ; Seriously, not from a plane? ; Maybe it was attached to a kite....
