January 1996. While the rest of the eastern seaboard was dealing with the aftermath of a blizzard, http://nsidc.org/snow/blizzard/january6.html my family went to WDW on a pre-scheduled trip. Fortunately the weather cleared for 1.5 days to allow us to escape. It snowed for two days after we left, but was cleared up for us to return. <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/cpg140/albums/uploads/061007/WDWJan9601a.jpg" /> Film, Kodak Gold 400. Of course this was my treat, after I was snowed in at the firehouse for two days, and then the fun began with ambulance calls for everybody who was snowed in and had 'Cabin Fever', with walking up hill to homes through waist high snow and trying to figure out how to get the patients back to the ambulance. Did you know that backboards can make excellent sleds?
