Attended the Notre Dame vs. Syracuse University Big East basketball game last Saturday. The first two were taken with the 70-200VR f/2.8 lens during per-game warmups. Don't I wish I had seats that close for the game!

And you thought the empty football field was bright. :D They are calling for an Orange-out for the Georgetown game next month. I don't know how much more orange it can get!

cool photos Scott, I'm in Syracuse now on business!

Looks like there was plenty of light, not like the dimly lit gyms the younger kids like my son plays in. I'm planning on the Canon 70-200mm f2.8 lens and am wondering if that will be even enough. I might rent one to try it out.

How do you like SmugMug by the way? I'm looking for a place to post photos?

Yo, Paul! You come into town often? If you are sticking around some, drop me a PM/Email.

I really like Smugmug. I use it as my online backup. It's flexible. People can order quality prints and photo gifts. One of the reasons I haven't invested in a photo printer is because of Smugmug's high quality prints and prices. I find their galleries easy for people to navigate. Very little downtime in the three years I've been using them.

You can try them out for free. If you decide to subscribe, I can save you a few bucks on your first subscription. Again, send me a PM and I'll give you the code.
