I was flipping through a magazine (Shutterbug, I think) and found an ad for this Sunpak 523px tripod. The ad made it sound like it was the greatest thing the world has ever seen, which I suppose is what ads are for and why I looked into it further. But, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with Sunpak tripods. This seems like a pretty great deal, but I wasn't too sure. Without looking at the ad, I have a Sunpak ; I bought it as a stop gap until I can afford to lay out the money for a better one. ; I can't remember which one I have, but it is a bit on the heavy side, I don't think that I have the ability to change out the head (I want to get Tim's pistol grip), BUT it works. ; I only carry it at night and I can attach it to my bag. ; I just wish it was lighter and a little more customizable.
