Catching up on this trip from August. It is one of New York's Natural Wonders as the Genesee River cut a deep gorge south of Rochester with beautiful waterfalls. The Civilian Conservation Corps did a lot of stone work to make it very accessible for the public. This is Inspiration Point which overlooks most of the gorge with Middle Falls and the train trestle and Merrie is modeling for me at the Tourist Telescope location. In this view, you can see the top of Upper Falls just below the bridge. Here's a close up of Middle Falls from Inspiration Point.
This is Lower Falls in the park. Just down from that location is a huge CCC built stone bridge over the river.
Farther down the river, Adventure Calls Outfitters takes out groups for some white water rafting. The launch from Lee's Landing. Couldn't resist panning them as they floated slowly by. Shutter speed was only 1/6s, hand held. Of course, aliens had done some rock stacking.
