You've had a long, hot day searching for droids on Tatooine. You've told countless creatures to "Move along." You've seen a piece-of-junk space ship blast its way out of Mos Eisley. Where are you going to go? Walt Disney World! Let's see some of your shots from this year's Star Wars Weekends.
Thanks. ; I'm not normally one to get photos with characters, but I made a point to do as many as possible at SWW. ; The CMs in costume are great and they have some fun poses for the guests.
same goes for me. I never do character meet and greets, but at Star Wars Weekends I geek out big time!
Here are some of the ladies: The princess and the droid A regal portrait This one was quite a pleasant surprise. As I said above, I normally don't do character meet & greets. ; I don't know if it was because there was a short line or if she was just fulfulling her royal duties, but the queen spent quite a bit of time chatting with each guest, more so than any other face character I experienced. ; I tried my best to carry on a conversation, but I'm afraid I turned into a tongue-tied little boy in her presence. I really like the backdrop that they provided, too. ; It's impossible to tell that we were just a few feet from Sounds Dangerous.
Here are a couple from Hyperspace Hoopla: Vader does Michael Jackson: His number for "Dance-off with the Star Wars stars" was Beat It. ; It brought down the house! Boba Fett's just a Dancin' Fool: If you haven't checked it out, search Youtube for the Hyperspace Hoopla from May 22. ; There is a surprise after the winner is announced! As always, click the pictures to go to my Flickr page. Update: ; I found the video: Dance Off with the Star Wars Stars 2010 (Part 1)
I'm still working through the shots from the weekend. ; These two needed a little cloning to remove unwanted guests. ; (Disney frowns on the .45 caliber people filter.) A Gamorrean guard with a runny nose. ; Must be allergy season. Bounty hunter Zam Wesell. ; Check out the details on her costume. ; You are looking at her costume, right? ; Don't look at her eyes. ; There's nothing to see there. ; Nothing at all.
