Well, last week I got my first look at the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at DHS. I know - someone who's not a Star Wars fan taking photos of a place devoted to all things Star Wars doesn't make much sense, right? Well, even though I don't know the films or the lore, or honestly much of what I was seeing, I still found it enjoyable as the theming was taken in typical Disney fashion - thorough and deep...and it is actually more impressive to me than Pandora, as it's much bigger in scale and size. It was September, it was hot, it was rainy, and I was walking around strictly with my APS-C camera and one lens mounted (18-135mm), no tripods, no additional lenses...strictly handheld. Here are some of my first shots of the place in the late afternoon on a stormy day:

I can only imagine how crowded this area will be when Rise of the Resistance opens a little more than a month from now.

It looks like there's a fairly lengthy (and scenic) outdoor queue for RotR. But on the 5th the line will probably stretch back beyond Star Tours.

I would think so. I plan on getting to DHS VERY early on the 7th.
