As I get ready for the potential snow day tomorrow, I thought I could use something from the warmth of WDW. ; I decided on the Blue Glowtini! ; One of my favorites! ; I hate the snow! ; But I do love a good martini! [attachimg=1]
writing this from the jamesport firehouse, we have been on standby since 2300 last night, 18 inches on the ground, still snowing steady, maybe 3 more before it ends around 6pm. side roads are mostly still unplowed, town highway dept has their hands full with the drifting snow keeping open our major roads and the main road through the community.
Luckily we only got hit with about 2-3 inches of the light fluffy stuff. ; Now we just have to contend with drifting in the rural areas. brought to you by an (HTC) "Incredible" Guy.
Jamesport where? ; I guess you are a volunteer? ; On a side note, I am still going through your galleries from the Panama Canal Cruise back on 2008 and loving it!! Red, where do you live?
We are missing the brunt of the Noreaster this week though we still got about a foot of snow over the last 24 hours. Glad my flight next week is a non-stop. ; Going to be sipping an umbrella drink on Castaway Cay by this time next week. (Just hope it's warm enough to do so!!!)
jamesport, new york, yes i am a volunteer nozzlenut here in our one stop light town, if you google 25 manor lane, you will see our firehouse. glad you enjoy the canal transit. there's also a thread on here from 2009, we did an abd, quest for the west STAY TUNED FOR ANOTHER EXCITING THREAD, coming to you in april, 4/27-5/11, 2 days and nights on vancouver island, 3 nights in downtown vancouver at the fairmont pacific rim, and 7 nights inaugural alaskan cruise on the disney wonder, calling on skagway, juneau, ketchikan, with 2 sea days, and a half day venture on the ship, up the taylor arm fjiord, to the sawyer glacier it's my thought to do another narrated thread much like the panama thread, with just a few tasty teasers from each day. not too many so as not to use up all the bandwidth. if i have wireless in the vancouver hotels, i am bringing the netbook, so i may be able to update live on the front end. the alaska portion will have to wait until i get home, but even the netbook helps, as i now can kill the airport time culling out the throwaways. and as always to see all the trip please visit my phanfare galleries, many many more galleries and albums there
I am now very jealous. ; I just cant swing the $$$ for the west coast thing, but so badly want to the Alaskan Cruise. ; I will be closely watching for your posts and pictures. I see you are way out there on Long Island! ;
