AKA dragonfly- as a born yankee- but transplanted in the deep south years ago- i love that name for them ; especially when said with an authentic south georgia accent.

 

Nice shot! ; I've never heard that name for them either.

 

Very cool! ; I am always fascinated by close up/macro photography!

he was a ; real ham- stayed put on that piece of weed- would fly away and then pose again. Stayed around so long I named him-- Dexter. ;
