I am in between sports seasons so what do I do? I go photograph sports.
In between Race 4 and Race 5 at the Saratoga Race Course last weekend, it poured, thundered and lightninged. Delaying Race 5 for 30 minutes and soaking the track. Then the Sun came out and I quickly moved down to the rail to catch the horses as they would round turn 4 and head down towards the finish line.
if you ever wondered what they mean by a sloppy track, this is what it looks like.

And, of course, I had to get in some panning shots.

Both taken with a Nikon D500 and 70-200VRII lens. See the flickr pages for the full Exif data.
