Well before they "met". http://www.gadling.com/2010/06/09/walt-disney-world-vacation-photo-c/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+weblogsinc/gadling+(Gadling)
I wonder what the statistical odds are that two strangers end up in the same picture and many years later they are friends let alone married but had no knowledge of each other at the time of the picture.
Actually I think it's probably pretty decent. ; My story doesn't involve getting married BUT.... I went to junior high school in Colorado, my dad got relocated to Maryland when I was in high school. So I went to the Univ. of Maryland. ; A few years later, during my stint as a volunteer firefighter/EMT-P I ran a seizure on campus. ; The good samaritan who was with the student that had a seizure was a young lady that I went to high school with. ; When I got on scene I was saying internally "I know her...." while I was taking care of the patient. ; She left because we had arrived so later I just went through my yearbooks, found her, then looked her up in the student directory. ; Yep, it was her. ; I called her and we visited for a short while at her house - and she had one of those "he looks familiar" moments too. ; She transferred to Maryland because of our Poli Sci program.
I think the scenario you described is statistically more probable than finding yourself in a family photo of someone else's vacation
Annnnnnd they got Disney Social Media to notice their story. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2010/06/couple-knows-it-really-is-a-small-disney-world-after-all/
