The annual Barrel Racing championship at the NY State Fair was held last Saturday night. I got my usual shots but wanted to look for a different way to photograph the action. Look up as they say and then move... D70/50 1.8, 1/160s, f/1.8, ISO 800, +0.3 EV
this is nice, it's really nice to karen and i as just the last 2 weeks she's been lightly working silver dollar on barrels again at a light lope and it seems to be coming back to him if i may be so bold, do you have enough pixels to crop tight to the horse and rider, just go out enough to show some dirt and convey the sense of the arena, maybe straight down from the 2 side barrels and cutting out the railing taken in the inside arena??
Like this? Enough pixels or not, it's a good exercise. The slow shutter speed shows up here. With all the photography I do in this building, the D700 is looking better and better.
