Love the station! I'll have to work on getting those pics online as well. But here is the ladder truck from 1998: <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/assets/images/db_images/db_98TRIP07a1.jpg" /> They had different colors in 1996. Anyone seen their current equipment? Maybe they are still using the ladder truck as the costs of these vehicles have gone past half a million...
yes they are, they even have their own hazmat trailer now, there used to be a website with pics by one of their dispatchers, haven't seen it in a while, and they have a 4th station now, right across from saratoga springs, you pass it on the busses to downtown when they come across the road with the entrance to old key west and then make the turn by the golf course, has a big oversize hydrant on the front, i'll try to get a pic for you during mousefest gary
Here's the HQ from 1996. <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/assets/images/db_images/db_WDWJan9629a1.jpg" /> <p> <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/assets/images/db_images/db_WDWJan9630a1.jpg" />
A couple of years ago I stopped in the middle of the night and got some shots of the OTHER firehouse:
I took these in December of 2004 while staying at Saratoga Springs. What I wouldn't give to work in a station that looks that cool! Enjoy. [This attachment has been purged. Older attachments are purged from time to time to conserve disk space. Please feel free to repost your image.]
Very cool shots Will! I've never actually seen it at night. Looks like I'll have to get the tripod out when I get back in February.
I love this station over the other one..sorry I should be more clear. I like the "modern/contemp" looking station over the red brick looking one.
