oooh my DD may be intellectually ready but she's not emotionally ready; I'm glad she's got one more year before she can start. ; But today she went back to school for the "year". ; Camryn doesn't look like she's going to be fun next week....
That's an interesting shot and a neat effect with the colored flash gel. My son starts kindergarten this year also, and he is a little concerned about it, but we have another 2 weeks before it is imminent that school is starting so I am thinking that it will get a little worse.
Oh, yeah...and for the slideshow at the grad party. ; ; Yep, my daughters got some surprises when they saw the ones I did for them. ; ;D

Very nice, Jeff! ; Sounds like my county... ; They design schools to be at 100% capacity the first year they are open because they realized that the state won't fund the extra capacity. ; Its normal to see portables show up in year 2 or 3. ; When they renovated my high school 10 years ago, the renovation got delayed a couple of years because the state pushed back the funding. ; When the new section opened, they were able to remove half of the portables. ; The rest are still there.
Camryn started 3rd grade this year and she is in a portable for the first time. ; Kind of different- but the up side it she is one of 14 in the class vs. one in 20+ in the other classes.
I hear ya Heff. My son is in the 7th grade at a private School & he is 1 of a class consisting of ONLY 12 students. That is a wonderful thing.
