i must agree... people using flash irk the heck outta me as well. i am not above taking out my flash tube and firing one back if they refuse to stop. i was actually applauded one time for that.

This shot is amusing me, actually. It's making the typically underpowered P&S flash look like a nuclear explosion, as if when the boats move on the outlines of the passengers will be seared onto that bridge.

This still isn't as bad as the occasional person using a video light on a camcorder. That's the peak of obnoxious stupidity, the sort of complete lack of courtesy that leads someone to figure that using a high powered video light to illuminate a DARK RIDE is an acceptable thing to do.

LOL Dan- That reminds me years ago I was at Illuminations and when the show started a guy near me started filming it with a video light. The got insulted when halfway thru the show CM's found him and told him to turn off the light.

I've debated for years and years whether people are just completely inconsiderate or just terribly stupid and unaware. I still have not reached a decision on the point yet.

um, I am sure that Tim and I and anyone else that has done public service could answer this question. I think that you would find as we have that the answer is both.

YES STOP!!! YOU ARE RUINING THE RIDE FOR THE REST OF US!!

this just happened to us for the first time. two people on pirates flashing every 10-20 seconds. the worst was in the seat in front of us. and he would even turn around to get a shot. I kept popping him in the face with my onboard, but he must have assumed that was just a normal way to ride pirates. he never quit!

I was going crazy and way too tired to intelligently ask him to stop. Luckily, I can ride potc over and over again, and it was not my only chance to ride on a "once a year" trip.
